      Carefree Arizona is located north of the 101 and was one of first planned communities in Arizona. Carefree began when two partners bought a goat ranch and 2,000 acres in the mid-1950s, and then chose a soothing assortment of street names like “Easy Street” and “Tranquil Lane.” 

Carefree is a gorgeous resort town surrounded by spectacular mountain views and scattered with prehistoric boulder stacks and verdant desert vegetation.

      Elite luxury homes and amenities combined with natural desert beauty to make Carefree home value's the second most expensive in the Valley, surpassed only by Paradise Valley. Wildlife like coyotes, javelina, and jackrabbits roam the calm roads.
